The newly released court trial calendar shows that Sam Bankman-Fried's trial is scheduled to begin on October 3, but actual court proceedings are expected to begin one day later.US Assistant Prosecutor Danielle Kudla said the Department of Justice estimates that the case will take four to five weeks.
SBF's lawyer representative Mark Cohen said that the defense's case is more streamlined and if the defense chooses to present the case, it may take up to a week and a half. The judge pointed out that the trial schedule may be extended as a result, but in any case, the consensus seems to be that the trial will end before Thanksgiving in late November.
