"The Sandbox Announces Release of Officially Licensed Elvis Presley NFT Avatars for Play in Ethereum Metaverse Game"

The Sandbox, a Web3 gaming platform, has announced the release of officially licensed Elvis Presley NFT avatars to celebrate the musician's legacy. The avatars, which will be minted on the Ethereum scaling network Polygon, will feature outfits and hairstyles from Presley's career and unique emotes inspired by his signature dance moves. The avatars will be playable in all future Sandbox multiplayer experiences and will unlock upcoming features and content in the metaverse space. The public sale of the 3,000 avatars will begin on August 9, with each avatar costing 100 SAND and offering governance and voting rights for the Elvis Legacy Council DAO.

    On July 8th, Binance Research's latest report showed that the crypto market experienced a significant downward trend in June 2024, with an overall decline of up to 11.4%. Due to the market downturn, the TVL (total locked value) of DeFi decreased by 8.7% in June. The NFT market also continued to be sluggish, with a total sales volume of $46 million in June, a decrease of 26.2% compared to May.
