Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino wrote on X platform that USDT is bringing the US dollar to hundreds of millions of people living in developing countries around the world who need an alternative currency to their rapidly devaluing local currency. Tether has been investing its stablecoin reserves in US Treasury bonds and has become one of the top three short-term US bond holders in the world.
