TerraUSD Creator Do Kwon Secures $428,000 Bail in Montenegro Court Amid Extradition Requests

Do Kwon, the creator of TerraUSD, has been granted bail of $428,000 by a Montenegro court after a third round of negotiations. Kwon and former CFO Han Chang-Joon were arrested in March for allegedly carrying forged passports and travel documents. The courts in Montenegro could sentence Kwon to five years in prison if he is convicted on forgery charges. Kwon is also facing criminal prosecution in the US and South Korea, with both countries requesting his extradition from Montenegro.
