The L1 Joint Task Force is making progress towards implementing the Cosmwasm upgrade for the Terra Classic blockchain, bringing it to parity with Luna 2.0 and Cosmos. The upgrade has been delayed from May 31 to June 14 to allow for additional testing.

The team has successfully completed unit upgrades on the Bajor-1 testnet and plans to upgrade Rebel-2 on May 31, followed by an Agora proposal seeking community consensus for the upgrade on the Terra Classic mainnet. The L1JTF is also working on implementing a minimum validator commission rate of 5% to ensure network security.
