June 20 (Cointime) - A survey conducted by Laser Digital, a digital asset business backed by Nomura, found that 96% of professional investors are interested in investing in crypto.

The survey included 303 investors managing a total of $4.95 trillion in assets, with 82% having a positive outlook on Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Additionally, 88% said they or their clients were considering investing in cryptocurrencies. The CEO of Laser Digital, Jez Mohideen, commented that the survey showed institutional investors see a clear role for digital assets in investment management.

Meanwhile, BlackRock's filing for a spot Bitcoin ETF has renewed institutional interest in Bitcoin, with some expecting a new wave of institutional bitcoin-related financial products to follow.
