Ready Makers Inc., a Web3 gaming company, has announced that the Supreme Court of Gibraltar has ruled in its favor and frozen $7 million worth of its cryptocurrency as part of ongoing litigation against its local subsidiary. The dispute involves Ready Makers (Gibraltar) Limited and its CEO, Christina Macedo, who is accused of taking control of the company and its PLAY token, used as rewards in games on the platform. Nearly 440 million PLAY tokens, representing almost half of the circulating supply, have been placed in the custody of a court-appointed custodian in the case against the Gibraltar-based Ready Maker, operating as PLAY Network. The court order also prohibits any attempts to relocate the Gibraltar firm or the tokens. Ready Games, the US-based company behind Ready Makers, is seeking to regain control of the Gibraltar subsidiary, which it intended to use as a launch vehicle for its token.
