Stacks has opened the Nakamoto testnet to the public. This testnet will provide a more formal public testing environment for builders, signers, and stakers. This version is an improved version of the pre-launch testnet released earlier this month.

Previously, Stacks co-founder Muneeb Ali had stated that the Stacks Nakamoto upgrade would begin rolling out between April 15-29. The bootstrapping contract required for the Nakamoto upgrade is now ready.
