Solana validators have approved Solana Improvement Document (SIMD)-0096, which proposes to send all transaction priority fees to validators for block production. Previously, the plan was to split the fees between destroying and rewarding validators. This proposal aims to improve the incentive mechanism for validators to obtain priority fees and help enhance network security. SIMD-0096 can also eliminate possible private transactions between block producers and transaction submitters, thereby improving the incentive mechanism within the validator system.
