June 20 (Cointime) - Solana has launched its Saga mobile phone, which features a decentralized app store and easy integration with crypto wallets and DApps. The phone has been available for pre-order for some time and comes with a number of hardware features, including a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and a 120Hz display. Users can quickly set up the phone and use their fingerprints to unlock their wallets and sign transactions. The phone also comes with a Solana-powered DApp store that offers access to various DApps across gaming, NFTs, decentralized finance, and social categories. Some previously web-based DApps, like Squads, are now available on the Saga app store, indicating a trend of Web3 apps aligning with their parent chain's ecosystem infrastructure. While the Saga phone has received mixed feedback and is unlikely to surpass iPhone or Android, it is a promising development for the industry.
