On October 10th, SlowMist founder Yu Xian posted an article stating that he tested the new 2FA mechanism added by friend.tech. This 2FA actually allows users to set an independent password. When users buy or sell keys, withdraw funds, export private keys, and other fund-related operations, they need to verify this independent password once.

Users must keep this independent password safe, otherwise their funds will be lost. Today, friend.tech has added support for 2FA password function. Friend.tech emphasized that neither the official nor the Privy team can reset these passwords, so users should be careful when using this feature.
