Self-proclaimed Satoshi, Craig Wright, is targeting Apple for allegedly breaching copyright with the Bitcoin white paper. The discovery was initially made by tech blogger Andy Baio, who found that a copy of the white paper has been secretly embedded in Apple's macOS since the Mojave version in 2018.
Wright has been known for his controversial approach to claiming intellectual property rights over Bitcoin and its underlying technologies. This approach, often referred to as "patent trolling," involves aggressively filing numerous patents related to Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
