June 19 (Cointime) - Craig Wright, who claims to be the creator of Bitcoin, has criticized the Bitcoin Core developers for hindering innovation and destroying the efforts of builders. He accused them of disregarding the rights of creators and attempting to merge open-source and public domain concepts to strip away property rights.
Wright's conflict with the core developers has been ongoing since the inception of Bitcoin. A British court has dismissed Wright's claims against the developers, stating that they cannot be held liable for a hacking incident or be compelled to aid Wright in regaining control over assets. The court also clarified that it is not the responsibility of BTC veterans to implement security measures safeguarding users from potential key losses.
