Sei Launches Phase 2 of V2 Upgrade, Opening Parallel EVM Chains to Builders and Early Adopters

Sei announced on X platform that the first parallel EVM blockchain is now open to builders and early adopters, and Phase 2 (Alpha Launch) has now begun. Validators have upgraded their software to bring Sei V2 to the mainnet. Existing applications and tokens will continue to run as before, marking the developers' entry into a brand new design space. Previously, Sei announced that V2 upgrade will be released in three stages, which will achieve a brand new high-performance parallel EVM. The three stages are governance, Alpha release, and V2 readiness.
