SBI VC Trade will transfer DMM Bitcoin customer accounts and custody assets on March 8 next year

SBI VC Trade, a cryptocurrency exchange owned by SBI Holdings, has announced that it has signed an agreement with DMM Bitcoin regarding the transfer of customer accounts and custody assets. The transfer is scheduled to take place on March 8, 2025, and all of DMM Bitcoin's customers will be integrated into SBI VC Trade at that time. During the transfer process, customers will not need to go through new account opening procedures, as SBI VC Trade will handle everything. The transfer is for all customers who have opened accounts with DMM Bitcoin as of March 4th, and includes Japanese yen and spot cryptocurrency assets.
