According to insiders on the 17th, Samsung Electronics aims to seize the Web3 market with its Galaxy smartphone platform. Last year, the company added a blockchain wallet to Samsung Pay and added the ability to monitor major exchange cryptocurrencies. The company is also researching the ability to trade cryptocurrencies directly from the Samsung blockchain wallet stored on local exchanges. Once implemented, users will be able to buy and sell cryptocurrencies by linking their Samsung blockchain wallet to accounts on Ubit, Bithumb, and other exchanges. A Samsung Electronics representative said, "We are also considering promoting it in Korea, and once it is finalized, we will announce it to the public." Samsung Electronics' investment division, Samsung Next, has invested in CryptoKitty-NBA Top Shot developer Daffer Labs, as well as cryptocurrency analysis company Messari and Story Protocol.
