South Korean police have raided a plastic surgery clinic in connection with the suspected crypto-motivated kidnap and murder of a 48-year-old woman. Three men have been charged with murder, with police thinking that the gang hoped to steal the woman's "considerable" crypto holdings. Police have evidence that a third party had offered to pay the gang over $30,000 to carry out the crime, and are investigating possible links between the suspects and a couple surnamed Yoo who reportedly invested in a coin or project connected to the victim. The victim's husband is currently awaiting trial for suspected crypto fraud. The crime has shocked the country, with a police spokesperson describing it as "serious and brutal."
