Ripple CTO David Schwartz Comments on Uniswap's Decentralization Status

June 15 (Cointime) - Ripple's CTO, David Schwartz, recently commented on the decentralization of Uniswap, a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol. Schwartz believes that Uniswap is not truly decentralized, as its underlying technology is not open source.

This sparked a debate on Twitter about the definition of decentralization in open source protocols. Despite this criticism, Uniswap remains a leading DEX in the industry and is set to release a new V4 engine that aims to improve on previous versions.
