Ripple has acquired Fortress Trust, a company that provides regulatory and technology infrastructure for blockchain organizations and holds a Nevada Trust license for financial asset custody. This acquisition expands Ripple's portfolio of regulatory licenses in the United States, which already includes over 30 licenses as a money transmitter and a BitLicense in New York.
