Ripple's Chief Legal Officer Criticizes SEC Chair Gary Gensler

Ripple's Chief Legal Officer, Stuart Alderoty, believes that the issues faced by the crypto market are not related to the ecosystem, but rather a constitutional problem.

He criticized the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for mishandling the enforcement on the crypto market and using the judicial process as a weapon. Alderoty suggested that new laws governing the SEC's crypto oversight should be implemented to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, XRP token holders are awaiting the summary judgment from Judge Analisa Torres, who is overseeing the SEC lawsuit against Ripple.
