Punx: Steve Aoki and 3LAU's Crypto-Inspired EDM Project on Royal Web3 Platform

Electronic musicians Steve Aoki and Justin “3LAU” Blau have formed a new collaborative project called Punx, which draws inspiration from the CryptoPunks NFT collection. Their first track “Concentrate” will be released on Web3 music rights platform Royal, with 99 NFTs up for trade after issuance. Half of all royalties from the track will be split among 99 NFT collectors chosen from among Blau’s NFT holders, Aoki’s A0k1verse Passport NFT holders, and CryptoPunks NFT holders, in an effort to democratize ownership of the song. Blau is also the co-founder and CEO of Royal, which aims to grant music fans the opportunity to support their favorite artists with NFTs that grant them rights to a percentage of a song’s royalties. Both Blau and Aoki have made numerous moves across the Web3 world and share an affinity for this technology.

    According to the monitoring of on-chain analyst Yu Jin, Jump Trading may be selling ETH: they are currently redeeming a wstETH (120,000 pieces) worth $410 million in batches into ETH and then transferring it to exchanges such as Binance/OKX. So far, they have unpacked and redeemed 83,000 wstETH into 97,500 ETH in the 9 days since July 25. Among them, 66,000 ETH (191.4 million US dollars) have entered the exchange.At present, there are still 37,600 wstETH in their wstETH storage address that have not been transferred out; 11,500 stETH in the redemption ETH address is being redeemed into ETH; and 20,000 ETH in the ETH transfer address to the exchange are waiting to enter the exchange in batches.
