Polygon Co-founder: zkEVM Mainnet is the ‘Holy Grail of Scaling’

Polygon's co-founder Mihailo Bjelic and technical lead Jordi Baylina have shared their thoughts on the recent launch of the Polygon zkEVM in a podcast with Bankless. Baylina described the launch as a major milestone for the firm, stating that scalability and security are among the top features that the latest product brings to the table. Bjelic described it as the "holy grail of scaling" and highlighted its EVM compatibility, which benefits everything related to the Ethereum ecosystem. The launch had a significant impact on Polygon's native token, MATIC, which rallied more than 7% over the past 24 hours. (ambcrypto)
