Polkadot Launches OpenGov, Empowering Community Governance in Web3

June 16 (Cointime) - Polkadot, a blockchain platform for Web3 interoperability, has launched its open governance platform, Polkadot OpenGov. This marks a new era of fully autonomous decision-making, where the entire process is handed over to the DOT community.

With Polkadot OpenGov, the community will be in control of the network, and community referenda will determine the use of treasury funds and make network decisions.

The platform also aims to empower DOT holders and protect the network from malicious operators, and features a new elected body called the Polkadot Fellowship.
