Over 75% of Crypto Holders Have NFTs

According to a recent survey by Coin Gecko, 75.8% of respondents said they owned non-fungible tokens (NFTs), while 21.7% had never owned them before. The study included 438 respondents and did not explore the reasoning behind their decisions. The survey did explore the size of investors' NFT portfolios, with 26.5% of those who owned NFTs being keen collectors who own more than 50 NFTs. Only 48% of participants in another Coin Gecko survey wanted more regulatory oversight in the NFT sphere, with 18.7% definitely confident they wanted it. The majority of participants who agreed that the NFT space needed more regulations were those who did not have a strong opinion.
