On December 19th, PANews reported that Optimism, a second-layer scaling solution for Ethereum, announced on X platform that as part of its maintenance window plan, Optimism will suspend OP Goerli for one hour at 4:30 am Beijing time on December 21st. During the suspension period, the L1 status will be frozen and transactions will be rejected until the cancellation instruction is issued. However, OP mainnet and OP Sepolia will not be affected. In addition, Optimism recommends that users migrate to OP Sepolia as soon as possible, as OP Goerli will only be maintained until the end of 2023.
