Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, is set to launch his Worldcoin cryptocurrency today, with the distribution plan for the tokens also being made public. Worldcoin is an iris biometric cryptocurrency project that includes an ID system, iris-scanner Orb, and Wold App wallet. The official Worldcoin Twitter account posted a message teasing the launch, but no further details have been released. Crypto exchange OKX has already opened the Worldcoin recharge page, supporting ERC20 and Optimism. The company raised $115 million in a Series C round from investors including Blockchain Capital, a16z, Bain Capital Crypto, and Distributed Global.

According to the monitoring of on-chain analyst Yu Jin, Jump Trading may be selling ETH: they are currently redeeming a wstETH (120,000 pieces) worth $410 million in batches into ETH and then transferring it to exchanges such as Binance/OKX. So far, they have unpacked and redeemed 83,000 wstETH into 97,500 ETH in the 9 days since July 25.
