OKX Ventures Announces Participation in Celestia Lab’s Series B Financing

OKX's investment department, OKX Ventures, announced today that it will participate in the Series B financing of Celestia Lab. Celestia is expected to go live later this year and become the first blockchain network to use data availability sampling (DAS).

Primary investors in this round of funding include Headline, Hoxton, 20VC, and Chalfen, according to documents filed in October. Sifted previously reported that the startup had quietly raised €12 million last year. Mononautical stated that this appears to be caused by a poorly executed automated system that caused itself to bid for transactions, leading to uncontrolled fees.
