Nodle is working with Adobe, Linux Foundation and other companies to develop blockchain-based content authenticity verification technology

On October 5th, decentralized infrastructure network provider Nodle is collaborating with companies such as Adobe and Linux Foundation to use blockchain technology to verify the authenticity of real-world content captured by devices. Nodle co-founder Garrett Kinsman introduced the software development kit (SDK) for the ContentSign solution that the company is about to launch. The solution will use blockchain to prove the integrity of data from the moment of capture. Nodle will bring ContentSign to the Content Authenticity Initiative project led by Adobe and Linux Foundation to create future standards for media authentication.

Kinsman said that ContentSign will be part of proving the authenticity of specific visual media captured by physical cameras or devices and their corresponding metadata. The ContentSign technology can be used for many use cases, including the news industry. Kinsman added that the current version simulates the service on a mobile phone through the ContentSign SDK, but future implementations may be similar to the technology in a cryptocurrency hardware wallet.
