Warner Bros. Launches Web3 Experience for The Flash, Google Play Store Embraces NFT Games

Warner Bros.' NFT unit has launched a new Web3 experience for The Flash, which includes NFT collections, AR experiences, behind-the-scenes content, and the full film in 4K Ultra HD. The project will be hosted on the Eluvio blockchain and will be available in two different Mystery Bag editions. However, the community reaction on Twitter was not very positive.

Yuga Labs CEO Daniel Alegra is focusing on building out its Otherside metaverse project, while Roi has announced a $3.6 million funding round to develop its portfolio manager app. The Sandbox has partnered with the Turkish TV series Magnificent Century to bring its IP to the Metaverse, allowing users to get their hands on 3D avatars depicting Magnificent Century characters by late 2023.

Additionally, the Google Play store now allows video game publishers to sell NFT games, and blockchain gaming startup Spielworks has partnered with Mycelium Network to offer full refunds for NFT purchases. A magazine article also highlights the future potential of interactive NFTs in sports and the excitement surrounding the Vegas Sphere project.
