June 30 (Cointime) - Anime-inspired NFT brand Azuki sold out its new collection of 20,000 NFT characters called Elementals within 15 minutes, but faced backlash due to technical issues and artwork that was difficult to differentiate from its original collection. Azuki has apologized and announced plans to improve the project. Candy Digital and Palm NFT Studio have merged to expand licensed NFT projects across various industries, while Warner Music Group is partnering with Polygon Labs to launch a music accelerator program for Web3. Sotheby's is launching its Gen Art Program with a 500-edition collection of generative artwork by Vera Molnar, which will be sold via a Dutch auction format on July 26, marking the first time Sotheby's has used an on-chain sale for an auction. Bids will start at 20 ETH and decrease incrementally until the item is sold with one bid.
