MoonPay and Howard Hughes Launch NFT Scavenger Hunt in NYC's Seaport District, With Technical Glitches Quickly Resolved

Manhattan's Seaport District has launched a scavenger hunt with NFT rewards in collaboration with Moonpay and Howard Hughes Corporation. The aim is to increase engagement in the tourist-friendly area and introduce the benefits of digital assets. Participants must scan QR codes in ten hidden areas to unlock NFTs and have the chance to win weekly prizes.

Winners can trade prizes on secondary marketplaces, such as Rarible or OpenSea. Despite technical glitches, the blockchain-based initiative has been praised for boosting New York's reputation as a technology and innovation hub.
