MonkeDAO Acquires Solana NFT IP for $2m in Deal Approved by HadesDAO

MonkeDAO, an independent collective of Solana Monkey Business (SMB) NFT holders, has announced the acquisition of the intellectual property (IP) to the Solana NFT collection for $2m.

MonkeDAO bought the SMB IP and all related keys, assets, and accounts from Solana NFT exchange Hadeswap in a deal authorised by a HadesDAO governance proposal approved by almost 97% of token-based votes.

According to crypto data provider CryptoSlam, the Gen2 collection of SMB has yielded around $164m worth of trading volume to date.
