Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, has introduced the company's new AI assistant, Meta AI, which will integrate with Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and eventually, mixed reality devices. Meta AI is powered by the company's language model Llama 2 and was built in partnership with Microsoft Bing. The bot can answer questions, generate images using a new tool called Emu, and will be available for a limited group of US-based users on Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Meta's strategy is to create different AI products for different use cases, and the company also announced a collection of chatbots based on celebrities.
