The mainnet staking activity of Bitcoin's Layer 2 network, Merlin Chain, has exceeded a total TVL of $1.97 billion within 14 days of its launch, surpassing Ethereum's Layer 2 network Blast, which was launched in November last year. This includes Bitcoin network native assets worth $1.18 billion, $270 million in BRC-20, and Ethereum, stablecoins, and other assets worth $170 million. It is reported that the participation of the Ordinals ecosystem in Merlin Chain is extremely high. Currently, SATS staked in Merlin Chain accounts for 12.5% of its total supply, ranking second, surpassing OKX (7.3%) and second only to Binance (30%); ORDI accounts for 5.1% of the total supply, ranking third; Bitmap accounts for 26% of the total supply.
