London's position in the crypto conference hierarchy is slipping, as two major events, Token2049 and Blockworks' Digital Assets Summit, have decided not to return to the UK capital in 2023. The organizers of Token2049 confirmed in a statement that Token2049 Singapore will be its only event this year, while Blockworks has decided to move its Digital Assets Summit to Washington D.C. from both New York and London. Meanwhile, Paris Blockchain Week and NFT Paris have seen record turnouts, attracting thousands of attendees. Many in the industry expected event organizers to scale back this year due to the bear market, but Paris and other European hubs are providing clear guidance and attracting attendees.
