Linea implements EIP-4844 on the mainnet through Alpha v3, and the block time will be reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds

On March 27th, Linea announced the implementation of EIP-4844 on the Linea mainnet through the Alpha v3 version, in order to reduce data availability costs and improve Layer2 scalability.

Linea stated that starting tomorrow, gas prices on Linea will be reduced, depending on network usage. In addition, Linea will also reduce block time from 4 seconds to 3 seconds to increase network throughput.
