Linea, a blockchain network focused on scaling Ethereum, has successfully concluded its Voyager Quest, a nine-week challenge designed to engage its community and test its technology. During the challenge, Linea achieved over 30 million transactions and saw participation from over 5.2 million unique wallets, demonstrating the strength of its ecosystem.

The Voyager Quest allowed participants to engage in various on-chain and off-chain activities, including quizzes and voting, to learn more about the Linea ecosystem and its capabilities. The Linea team upgraded key components of its zkEVM architecture, improving network performance, user experience, and transaction costs, laying the foundation for a more scalable, efficient, secure, and user-friendly Ethereum layer 2 rollup network.

Linea will begin providing services to its partners this week, followed by opening up the network to the wider community during ETHCC. The success of the Voyager Quest highlights the importance of a healthy ecosystem in launching a network, with over 50 partners joining and contributing to the challenge across different sectors and applications. The success of related decentralized applications (dapps) directly impacts the network's development and value.

All Voyager Quest participants are eligible to receive a commemorative "Proof of Contribution" NFT, commemorating their rank in the challenge. Linea will work with Galxe to audit the leaderboard this week and distribute the NFTs after integration with partners. The Linea team will hold a celebration event at its Paris headquarters next week to mark the release of the mainnet alpha version prepared with the help of the community and announce the final leaderboard, NFT artwork, and winners. All participants will receive a limited edition NFT after the event.
