Kellogg's Files Trademarks for Potential NFTs of its Brands

Kellogg's has filed for twelve trademarks for its various brands, indicating that the American cereal company may have plans to create NFTs with its intellectual property.

The filings, sent to the US Patent and Trademark Office, mention the potential use of Kellogg's food products in "online virtual worlds" and the creation of NFTs featuring its cereals, breakfast bars, and snacks.

However, the filings do not guarantee that Kellogg's will launch NFT or metaverse-related assets. Other companies, such as Mercedes Benz and Fidelity, have also filed trademarks related to the metaverse and NFTs.
