Israeli law enforcement has ordered the freezing of multiple cryptocurrency accounts and seized millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency to prevent the flow of funds to Hamas. Since the attack launched by Hamas on October 7th, more than 100 accounts on the Binance platform have been closed. Authorities have also requested information on up to 200 additional encrypted accounts, most of which are on the Binance platform. Binance has confirmed that it has banned "a small number" of accounts since this summer, adding that it "complies with internationally recognized sanction rules."
