June 28 (Cointime) - Inter Protocol, a leader in decentralized finance, has launched IST Vaults, which allows users to mint IST stable tokens using interchain assets, starting with ATOM.

The Vaults are developed on Agoric's JavaScript smart contract platform and incorporate a hybrid collateralization structure and a reserve fund for enhanced stability. Inter Protocol's governance uses a hybrid approach, balancing community-driven decision-making with the rapid response capabilities of an elected Economic Committee.

The introduction of Vaults is the latest addition to Inter Protocol's application lineup, following the successful launch of the Parity Stability Module.
