Institutional Investors Want Backing from Traditional Financial Institutions Before Investing in Crypto: Nomura Survey

According to a survey by Nomura's digital asset arm, professional investors are interested in crypto but want to see support from large traditional financial institutions before investing. Regulatory uncertainty in the United States has caused institutional investor interest in crypto to stall.

However, 96% of professional investors still view digital assets as a diversification opportunity. The survey also found that 82% of professional investors are optimistic about the crypto asset class in general over the next 12 months, with Bitcoin and Ethereum being regarded as a long-lasting source of investment opportunities.
