Influencer's Threats Over $1bn Lawsuit: Florida Attorney Seeks Safety from Ben "Bitboy" Armstrong

Florida attorney Adam Moskowitz has contacted the FBI and local police over concerns for his safety after receiving threats from influencer Ben “Bitboy” Armstrong.

Moskowitz’s law firm filed a class action lawsuit against Armstrong and other influencers in March, claiming they promoted the sale of unregistered securities because of paid sponsorships with now-defunct crypto exchange FTX. The lawsuit’s clients are seeking over $1 billion in damages.

Armstrong has been publicly harassing Moskowitz, referring to him as a “pussy” and a “bitch”. Moskowitz said he feels “threatened” and fears what one of Armstrong’s three million followers may do. A court filing alleges Armstrong has left Moskowitz Law voicemails full of vulgarities and that “home addresses” of Moskowitz and his colleagues are “being circulated on Reddit”. The filing also claims Armstrong evaded being served with legal papers, while “continuing to make daily violent threats”.
