Hong Kong virtual asset spot ETF has been listed for over a month, but banks have not yet put it on the shelves. Some issuers have stated that banks and securities firms are subject to different regulatory bodies, and distribution through banks still requires permission from the corresponding regulatory body. Banks may also need time for internal evaluation. Traditional banks are concerned about anti-money laundering and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory risks and lack relevant technical talent. Therefore, they are more cautious about participating in distribution products. For traditional financial institutions, most virtual currencies are speculative, and the application of related basic technologies is the more interesting area.
