HashKey Group's Chief Operating Officer, Livio Weng, stated in an interview that Hashkey will not only go live in Hong Kong, but also in other countries or regions that comply with regulations, except for China, the US, and restricted areas. He also stated that only 5-8 exchanges are expected to successfully obtain a virtual asset trading license in Hong Kong, and 80% of those currently applying for a license are expected to withdraw their applications. Currently, Hashkey is working with Chainalysis to ensure the security and compliance of cryptocurrency assets.
In addition, Hashkey may be the first to launch ETFs (especially spot ETFs) within the compliance framework, including providing underlying infrastructure for funds applying for ETFs in Hong Kong, which has already been launched. (DeThings)
