Governor Ridwan Kamil of West Java, Indonesia, expressed his optimism for Bitcoin adoption in the country during a recent discussion titled "The Indonesia Bitcoin Mining Campaign".
The governor aims to make Indonesia a "Bitcoin heaven" and outperform other nations in adopting the technology. The country is preparing to establish a Bitcoin trading exchange, in line with the trend of the new generation acquiring Bitcoin as a reserve currency.
With over 12 million crypto investors in the country, 70% of whom have chosen Bitcoin as their preferred digital asset, Indonesia appears to be well-positioned for widespread Bitcoin adoption.
