Google Unveils New AI Language Models, Including Gemini, with Multimodal Capabilities

Google has announced new features backed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) that will be updated across its major platforms during its annual Google I/O conference. The updated Pathways Language Model (PaLM 2) has improved capabilities around reasoning, coding, and multilingualism. Google also showcased two specialized models, Med-PaLM 2 for medical applications and Sec PaLM 2 for cybersecurity.

Google is developing a new large language model called "Gemini" that may replace or complement its recently launched PaLM 2. This development represents a significant leap in AI technology and offers exciting new possibilities for AI tools and applications.
