Global Traffic to ChatGPT, the Leading Consumer AI App, Drops for the First Time Since Launch

In the US, the decline was even more significant at 10.3%. Despite this, ChatGPT remains one of the most popular websites in the world, with over 1.5 billion monthly visitors.

The chatbot's success has been attributed to the rise of generative AI solutions that produce content through brute-force training on text, photos, and videos. However, the high operating costs of ChatGPT have been criticized, and the recent slowdown in growth may help manage these costs.
