June 29 (Cointime) - San Francisco-based generative AI platform Typeface has raised $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Madrona, Google Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and Microsoft's M12 venture fund.
Typeface's generative AI creation platform is aimed at enterprises and the funds will be used to support growth, innovation, and scaling. The company was founded in June 2022 and launched its public-facing business application in February, integrating OpenAI's GPT-4, Stable Diffusion, Google Vertex AI, and Microsoft Azure AI. According to a recent report by McKinsey, generative AI could become a multi-trillion-dollar industry with broad utility.
