Gemini co-founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss are exploring the possibility of opening a second headquarters in the United Kingdom. The move is part of a larger plan to expand the business’s footprint outside of the United States as regulatory scrutiny increases.
While Gemini already operates in the U.K. under an FCA license, setting up a second headquarters may face opposition from the British Parliament, which recently recommended that crypto should be regulated like gambling.
Despite this, Cameron Winklevoss praised the U.K.’s crypto and talent markets and projected that the company might one day have more employees outside the U.S.
