According to a statement from Galxe, the website is currently offline and will be back online once the correct DNS records are spread worldwide. If users have not approved any transactions linking to their wallets with Galxe after 9:00 PM on October 6th Beijing time, their funds and information are safe.
Galxe uses Dynadot's domain registration service, and the domain http://Galxe.com was previously leaked. An unauthorized individual temporarily controlled the Dynadot account. Galxe regained ownership of the domain at midnight on October 7th Beijing time and worked with Dynadot to ensure the account's security.
Preliminary assessments suggest that the total amount of lost funds may be around or below $200,000. The team has contacted the relevant law enforcement authorities and will soon share a complete report and plan to recover the funds.
